Alliance Architects, Inc. (AAI), a leading Dallas commercial architectural and interior design firm, celebrates 30 years of helping to shape DFW’s architectural landscape. Since its inception in 1993, the company has developed a reputation for its professionalism, creativity, and relentless customer service. A 30th Year Anniversary Open House was held at AAI’s newly renovated office in celebration of this monumental event. Richardson Mayor Paul Voelker was in attendance to present the proclamation. He states, “We truly appreciate your support and continued service to the City of Richardson. Your participation in the Mayor’s Summer Internship Program is greatly appreciated and we thank you and your continued advocacy for our students. You are important to the city of Richardson; thank you for the services that you and your clients bring to this city.”
Effective April 1, 2023, Principal Chad Michel was elected by the Board of Directors to succeed Charlie Reagan as President of the firm. He is joined by Principals Carlos deSaracho, Tom Maxwell, and Scott Meyer, as the firm’s Board of Directors. Michel states “The firm was started on April 1, 1993. The name Alliance was chosen in part with the notion that our business is dedicated to creating alliances with developers, general contractors, and other architectural/engineering firms. We pride ourselves on our ability to listen and provide consistent and open communication while being fully transparent with our clients and consultants.”
One of Alliance Architect’s core beliefs is giving back to the community. “Philanthropy is an important focus for us” states Michel. “As an Architectural firm, we make an impact on the city landscape through building design, but at the same time we really enjoy giving back to our community. Recent projects include the new 39,000-square-foot facility for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County and the remodel of the existing Regional Hispanic Contractors’ Association headquarters including a workforce training a new component. Additionally, the new campus for the Park South YMCA is set to kick off summer 2023.”
With the real estate/construction market still soaring, the design firm has its employees to thank. “Our people are energetic and imaginative,” states Michel. “Everyone brings their unique talents to the table, producing creative design and constructible drawings. They listen, respond to, and transform our client’s goals into creatively designed and successfully constructed facilities. We strongly believe that the best and most talented people walk through our doors every day to form what we proudly consider the Alliance Family.” Michel continues “Most importantly, we credit our success to our clients, both longstanding and new. It is through their support and belief in our partnerships that we have succeeded and grown in the last 30 years. We look forward to another 30 years and beyond.”
