Due to their substantial growth, Rayburn Country Electric Cooperative (RCEC), a General and Transmission Electric Cooperative needed additional space for current employee needs and the future development of their operations. After occupying their current facility for 26 years, it was time to expand. We provided them with a new home, adjacent to their old facility.
Interior components of the 15,000 square foot office building include executive and operational offices, board room, and break room, along with their support facilities. Other amenities include a covered outdoor patio and a series of safe rooms for the employees during severe weather outbreaks. The building is designed with Lueders limestone and vertical cedar wood siding. Cedar timber trusses are incorporated into the main entry lobby to allow for a ‘lodge look and feel’.
Alliance Architects’ team members included Chris Bruck, Barb Caires, and Zach Weldy.
